  • percy

The firmware file E7971IMS.A91 doesn’t show on M-flash (though stock firmware updates properly) , and the file size is twice as much as stock firmware 16M v.s. 8M sock, any solution?

i did same as on guide just check bottom screenshots and done all 8 steps of that guide.

also add a few more steps to usual 8

9 enabled AUTO CLR_CMOS fuction at General -> Boot
10 Override + Offset mode for vcore , vcore 1.240 & offset 0.005 <- that screen w/o Override too much power on vcore but it works stable

Cpu Temperature does not work on CPUID HVMonitor after your tuto Ron1n.

      i3 6100.

      • Ron1n

        it’s ok
You can launch MSI Command Center and check Temp & FANs they work fine and correctly.
My comp running 24/7 with BDO and it’s work stable, but i lowered raito to 130 @ 4290mhz just to be sure of stability

I’m running this w/ i5 6500 @4.2ghz for about 1 year now. Override mode enabled. cor v @1.300 your pc will still raise this level a bit…buy a single 120mm liquid cooler, don’t air please.
Remember guys, blk overclock will cause you to lose onboard graphics processing.
BLK @ 125.00 NOC disable ring modulation, mode, all cores. apply at startup. for mem, blk will also raise your mem speed… LINK, adjust to its rated or slightly above value. no extra juice needed there. also make sure in you bios to disable onboard graphics.(not hard to find)

let me know, these details are sloppy but I can help.

    Intel I-5 6500 @ 4.2ghz
    Corsair h55 LIQIUD cOOL
    MSI z170a PcMate
    PNY Gtx 1070 XLR8
    Corsair Vengeance LED DDR4 @3000mhz
Patriot Spark 120gb SSD + other hdds
    Thermaltake 734 semi modular
    Corsair obsidian 850 case
