The quite young cooler manufacturer Raijintek from Taiwan created an amazing low profile CPU cooler. If you plan to build a small system with great performance and low noise-level this cooler could be your choice.

I can recommend this cooler for all CPUs with a TDP of 140 W and below such as Core i3, Core i5 and Core i7 or AMD-FX. Overclocking is also possible but only using CPUs with a lower TDP up to 100 W. E. g. a 4790K will run without any problems using this CPU cooler even overclocked.

The cooler comes with thermal paste included and is compatible to all latest Intel and AMD CPUs.

The 140 mm fan provides a good cooling with an absolutely amazing noise-level. Even at 12 Volt the fan does not reach 40 dB. Using 5 Volt supply voltage the fan will stay very quiet at only 31.1 dB. Built in a HTPC or Office PC I recommend to use 5 Volt supply voltage as the cooler still performs well but is almost impossible to hear.

For gaming- or overclocking-PCs you should use the fan controller of your mainboard.

Raijintek has a great product quality and finishing (see picture above!).

This cooler is perfect for small HTPC or miniITX systems. However, you might experience compatibility issues with the memory and/or the VGA. I recommend to use low profile memory modules. Memory modules with heatspreaders over 37 mm will collide with the Raijintek Pallas.

Depending on the mounting direction of the Pallas the fan mounting frame could also cause VGA compatibility issues on small mainboards.

Product Highlights:

  • Almost impossible to hear at 5 Volt
  • Low profile cooler and perfect for miniITX and other small systems
  • Great performance compared to the size
  • Nice product quality
